Christmas decorative pillow with images of cheerful reindeer will bring a festive mood to our home.

The pillow description from designer Kim Dickinson is translated from “Knit Now” magazine.

The size:

50x50 cm

Necessary materials:

Yarn Lana Gatto Super Soft Merino Extra Fine New Wool (100% wool; 125 m / 50 grams in a skein) - 2 skeins of white color (MC thread), 3 skeins of red (CC1 thread) and 1 brown skein (CC2 thread) , pillow 50 x 50 cm in size, 4 buttons with a diameter of 2.5 cm.

Required tools:

Spokes number 5.

Knitting density:

21 loops and 28 rows = 10 cm of the front surface.

Start knitting:

Thread CC1 dial 97 loops.

A number of elastic bands: * 1 front loop, 1 purl loop; repeat from * to the last loop, 1 front loop.

Repeat this series 13 more times.

Starting with the facial row, knit 84 rows of the facial surface.

Next row (fold): purl loops.

Change the thread on the MC.

Starting from the purse row, tie 3 rows of the front surface.

* Next row: 6 face loops, [1st row of picture 1, 5 face loops] - 3 times, 1 face loop.


Next row: 6 purl loops, [2nd row of figure 1, 5 purl loops] - 3 times, 1 face loop.

Knit in the prescribed manner until all 38 rows of the scheme of Figure 1 are connected. **

Starting with the front row, tie 4 rows with the front satin stitch.

Next row: 6 face loops, 1st row of picture 1, 5 face loops, 1st row of picture 2, 5 face loops, 1st row of picture 1, 6 face loops.

Next row: 6 purl loops, 2nd row of pattern 1, 5 purl loops, 2nd row of pattern 2, 5 purl loops, 2nd row of pattern 1, 6 purl loops.

Knit in the prescribed manner until all 38 rows of the scheme of figures 1 and 2 are connected.

Starting with the front row, tie 4 rows with the front satin stitch.

Repeat from * to ** 1 more time.

Starting with the facial row, tie 2 rows with the front satin stitch.

Change the thread on CC1.

Next row: facial loops.

Next row (fold): face loops.

Starting from the front row, knit 28 rows with the front satin stitch.

Tie 6 rows of gum.

Next row (button holes): [1 front loop, 1 back loop] - 9 times, 1 front loop, 1 nakid, 2 loops knit together front, [1 back loop, 1 front loop] - 8 times, 1 back loop , 1 tie, 2 loops knit together the front one, [1 face loop, 1 purl loop] - 8 times, 1 face loop, 1 nakid, 2 loops knit together the front one, [1 reverse loop, 1 face loop] - 8 times, 1 purl loop, 1 nakid, 2 loops knit together the front, [1 front loop, 1 purl loop] - 9 times, 1 face loop.

Tie 7 rows of gum.

Completion:

Run side seams. Sew buttons in accordance with the location of the loops. Thread the ends of the threads.
